Bleach 639 – Modified Bankai

Bleach 639 has now been released.

It begins as we see Mayuri say that it’s been long since he past repaired.here s hand and further says that it’s been quite shameful. Pernida asks if he feels nervous but Mayuri only asks if that is how he appears to be.

Pernida attempts to attack MayurI but he simply deflects it. He then states it would be difficult taking him back since each time he cuts him, that part just becomes another left arm. Pernida then says that having blood in his eyes hurt. After which Mayuri recalls reading a book that says that the right arm is meant for stopping while the left arm is meant for advancing. He says that he would never believe it until he could prove it with his own hands and then calls it a wonderful fight after which we see three left arms rising up. Mayuri starts to activate his bankai to which Yumichika and Ikkaku states that they must return Zaraki so that he does not inhale the poison. They then say that Mayuri wants to poison Pernida to death but Mayuri replies by saying that such would be a waste and activates a modified bankai “Konjiki Ashisogi Jizou. Matai Fukuin Shoutai”. They then ask what that is to which he answers is a modified bankai tha he created by modifying his former bankai. He further says that it is able to create another Ashigo Jizou based on Tue information he sends. He then makes one and says that it has nerves on the surface of its body and that those nerves are divided into 7000 layers and even if pernida’s nerves get to a layer, it would just come of and that would be the end of it. He then says that the only way to defeat it is to break through all the layers at once. We then see his bankai swallow the arms as Nemu seems to stare at the fight. The chapter ends here.
